By default, probe tips with a diameter of 3.5 mm are used on optacom systems. Optionally, you can use retainers for probe tips with any other customary diameter. Independent of diameter, length or angle, probe tips with radii between 1 µm and 1 mm can be used on optacom systems.
To enjoy the comforts of easy handling and fast exchange, however, you should use probe tips suitable for the optacom quick-acting closure - offered only by optacom. Instead of removing the probe arm with special tools, followed by readjustment and re-calibration of the whole system, you just need to take a few seconds to exchange the probe tip without a tool and without any loss of precision.
